Yesterday I promised you street art.
Here you go...
OK, so that's only one image. It happens to be the only one I took in portrait orientation though (you'll see why that matters later) so I figured it'd make a good opening image. The shot was taken at Hosier Lane, one of the most popular street art spots in Melbourne, I have no idea how anyone managed to paint that face up there, but I'm very glad that they did!
Anyway, normally for these blog posts I will pick a select few images that I feel would give you the best display of what I've been seeing. I have concluded that this approach will not work in this instance.
Instead, you're getting all the photos. BEHOLD!!!
If you've got all the way down here thinking "Hmm, all those pictures look a bit small to me, I can barely see what they are!" just click on each one and it'll get bigger!
I managed to go a bit trigger happy yesterday taking these, and because I enjoyed myself so much I booked myself on a street art tour pretty much as soon as I got back to the apartment. No doubt the tour will cover these areas, but I'm hoping it'll go to a few more spots too. If you're lucky I'll be able to provide you with another gallery of colourful images in the future.
For now though, I shall leave you with a cheeky little chappy that I discovered stencilled on to a tiled wall during the final stretches of today's 35km walk.
